Astrive student loan- loan benefits?

Image taken on by .
Hi, I was on the AES website looking at the details for one of my astrive student loans. This one was funded by Suntrust bank. And in the details section there is something that says loan benefits- rebate, status- pending. What does this mean?

  1. NotAnyoneYouKnow Says:

I’m guessing here, but it seems that AES is affiliated with the Studentloanrebates.com site.

Student Loan Rebates offers various “partnership awards” programs that allow borrowers to earn ‘credits’ when shopping at certain merchants.

You may be familiar with UPromise, one of the better known partnership awards programs – there’s a note on the Student Loan Rebates page that notifies participants that UPromise is no longer affiliated with the AES borrower program.

If SLR is not the source of your AES notation, I would contact AES directly for more information.

I’m sorry I couldn’t be more specific, but I’m hoping that my guess is on target. I wish I could have told you that Suntrust decided to give all their borrowers their money back.

Oh, by the way – did you know that Astrive is “temporarily” out of the student loan business? They no longer accept applications for student loans.

    Good luck!
