  1. Craig Matteson Says:

I do not know who loves Dick Morris. Some people hate and can not hear anything he says. Only with the introduction of upsets his name to the point of absurdity. However, if we look at what he has to say is usually interesting and often useful, even if I disagree with what he has to say. This is because they really understand how our political emotions work and the type of problems that cause the electorate to act. If you do not really believe what it says on behalf of a political or issue is not so important. Belief often wilt under the hot sun of political campaigns. Even so, this book seems more about the frustrations Morris and McGann share with us about how both Democrats and Republicans are in Congress.

His take on the problem is really pretty cool. Instead of focusing only on the border with Mexico, notes that at least half the problem, the most serious failure in preventing another 9 / 11, extending millions of people who stay visas. They come in legally, but fail to leave as requested. Since no piece that leaves the country is almost impossible to find who is here in violation of their visas! Morris said that just need to start tracking those who leave, so we can have an idea that remains, but we also need all the bars in immigration from countries designated as sponsors and supporters of terrorism. < , br />
The United Nations and many failures and scandals are examined next. Morris and McGann show us why there is absolutely no excuse for the United Nations to act and how the organizational structure actually promotes human rights failures, with the worst offenders on the committees that are supposed to monitor and intervene in situations such as Rwanda and Darfur . The authors show us, too, as the Oil for Food has been used by Saddam is not just to line their pockets at the expense of the people, but corrupted the political choices of many of those countries that have made our job more difficult in Iraq before the war, leading to war during the war, and to help Iraq create its own government.

efforts within the ACLU to suppress public criticism of the leaders of the leadership and policies are actually quite funny and sad. It is the hypocrisy of the first order and more people should know when it comes to this organization that it deems to be the final judge of our rights and social order. It should be more fully exposed and we must resist agencies and more balance than we have now.

The fourth chapter is longer, because when authors explain the problems in Congress for the trip, with family members to convert campaign contributions in cash, with the family representatives interest groups, and how little time is spent working for the needs of people. Morris and McGann do not pull punches, names names from both sides. This chapter alone makes reading this book useful. However upset with Congress you are now, there will be more angry after reading and reflection on the facts presented here.

We also chapters on how the Patriot Act and wiretapping NSA “(actually data mining) have helped in the war against terrorism, such as teacher unions harm really our efforts to educate our children (not teachers – unions), How big pharmaceutical spending huge money for Congress to keep the billions of profits in the flow, and how Fannie Mae makes money and abuse of its mandate to support many Democratic causes.

Morris and McGann then do a good job in progress after the Republicans for the bill prevents the bankrupt people like those suffering from cancer and oceans of medical expenses to get a fresh start. The credit card company is also pushing major credit for people who know, should not and then they want to avoid the risks of these bad business practices and respect these people more or less permanently enslaved them. The authors also go after the changes made to Congress the dire loan programs for students.

    We also have information on how insurance companies are trying to get out the Katrina claims by saying that it will pay for wind damage, but do not harm the water. Right. How do you get a hurricane is not water damage; I was in a hurricane. Water is a fundamental part of the storm. Why should the let them get away with it;

We also have a chapter on how some tobacco companies, even after all the bad report and the alleged settlements and public humiliation continues to increase levels of nicotine in cigarettes. There is also a chapter about how Gerhard Schroeder and Jacques Chirac have acted in a very corrupt. The final chapter is Congress returns for special interests and trade protection in the name of saving jobs. These Jobs saved cost us several hundred thousand dollars each. And also leads the industry in the country. For example, any number of candy companies have moved production to Canada and elsewhere, so they can buy sugar at world market and remain competitive, despite the maintenance of facilities and jobs in the United States pay more than twice the price of sugar on the world.

This book should make the current abomination of a majority of Americans rightly feel for Congress. We should be rotated with most of them in 2008 and hope that tangible incentives to do just that.

  2. Robert Busko Says:

The only strange thing about Outrage is that Dick Morris wrote. I am really surprised and happy. Apart from the special, I found his comments to be healthy and do not contain the wild types. Motivation is the word to use.

The litany of abuses out as wide-ranging and profound effects. Corruption in Congress seems to be rampant and occurring on both sides of the runway. Corporate misconduct seems to rise as an assistant instructor at a university business, I’m glad Morris describes how they do.

The question I ask after reading Outrage is when you find the famous media on these issues? It seems that the attention given to the war and attack Bush from the major news organizations means that many of these abuses have been ignored. Regardless of where you are in the range of the popularity of Bush, as Americans we should all be concerned about these violations. We must demand to be investigated.

And just ‘my opinion, but up higher Morris »is a ban on immigration from countries known terrorist. Racist? Hardly. Do not allow immigration from Japan, Germany or Italy during the Second World War. Perhaps the greatest generation knew something we did.

Outrage has been studied well and dead aim. Never mind that was written by a former Clinton insider.

    I highly recommend.

  3. Sivakumar Nadarajah Says:

What makes this book interesting is the solution (although some of them seem outrageous) Morris and McGann have offered us. We have seen and heard enough cry of frustration from many McGannses Morris. But others have offered specific proposals to balance their cries.

The most important proposal that seems obvious is to monitor those leaving the country.

Even failed states with zero law and order to kill and kidnap people, such as Sri Lanka track those who leave the country. If no record immigration, not just the risk to monitor those who are here in violation of their visas, but also encourage others to extend their stay. The perpetrators know that they should be checked at the airport when leaving the territory of the United States.

In addition to these new solutions would not agree with everything the authors say. But the book that make you think twice about all the decisions made by our legislators in the last two years.

In the process, prepare to be surprised by the complaints, allegations and revelations that could cause the level of adrenaline by a factor of ten.

    most appalling is the following:

    > Discover the legislators who put their spouses on the payroll and converted the money in his campaign personal income.

    > Discover the major insurance companies still make fun of their members in Louisiana who were victims of Katrina.

    > Discover members of Congress who has spent many days on exotic vacations paid for by lobbyists.

Outrage is a book sure to spark plenty of debate. Maximum price may be to encourage competent journalists to cover the same ground.

  4. Samantha L. Sayre Says:

Actually I was expecting a strong Republican Dick Morris book and that is not what it was all. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that it was quite fair. ;-) He has written on various issues concerning our country today, such as what to do with illegal immigrants already here and how the school unions are bad for our children. Each issue, I do not agree with any solution I thought might work, but it was enlightening for me to read about how he sees the problems and solutions devised. I felt the book was very well together and that was summarized in chapters. Much has been written as Dick Morris talks about if you’ve ever seen him interviewed, however, some of which you could say that Mrs. McGann had to be written. Really enjoy statistics and lists, where politicians, for use by special interest groups and backgrounds with them. I recommend this book to anyone who has heard some different ideas from both sides of the runway.

  5. Jo Ana Starr Says:

There was a lot about this book that I like, and still has 4 stars. Here’s why.

Yes, that’s another rant book seems to be a popular item in the United States and literary, but this book goes far beyond the rant by blowing the cover of the names of offenders ‘, providing very specific behind-the-scenes information, and offers many ways to fix what is broken. Many of the proposals of the authors’ seem to be feasible and correct specific abuses of power that this book reveals. Also this is the great part, the authors give the names of persons engaged in “outrageous” conduct referred to in this book, and specific details. You should read between the lines of this book. It is a kind Rant / tell-all book that redeems the arrogant aspect of this book for me. I can not help but wonder if the politicians mentioned herein will be elected again next year, and what you need to go through to repair the damage this book may be the cause. And the next time you’re shopping for homeowners insurance, if the information contained in this book will affect your decision. And so on. Let me tell you, I hope. Even with Internet access, most of the information communicated in this book is not available for most of us, and that to me is a huge part of the value of this book. This is the Americans who need information to make better decisions about the future.

This is an unusual book that there may be many who do not like what the authors say, but will learn a lot of valuable inside information on how the cookie crumbles here in the United States and why. Furthermore, injuries could pave the way for legislative changes to remedy these abuses in particular.
