Has anyone gotten an Astrive Student Loan? What are the pros and cons of such?

I applied for student loans and I wonder if this is a good way to go. Any information would be very confident that they are welcome.

  1. Found-1 Says:

I would avoid private student loans. They will require you to have a cosigner and charge you MUCH more interest that the federal loans (from 5% or 6.8%). Also some federal loans waive the interest while you are inrolled in college. (called subsidized)

Also be wary of variable interst rates and high origination fees. Don’t do a private loan. Find another way… ever heard those stories of kids graduating with 120K debt and are now qualified to be a kindergarden teacher? They did this by borrowing with private student loans.
