how can i get a student loan company to expunge my student loans ?

LOL !! In New York they keep your tax refunds until you loan is paid off.

Enter bankruptcy protection, or else a powerful enough electromagnetic pulse could probably expunge them (unless they have paper back ups).

It is not easy to expunge your student loans. Not even a personal bankruptcy gets rid of them. You can lower the amount through a great amount of time doing volunteer work through the Peace Corps or VISTA. You could go into teaching, and they would help you if you worked so many years in certain areas. If you are unemployed, you could ask for a deferment. If you use Upromise, you can use the amounts you accumulate through them on your student loans for four payments a year. To lower the payment amounts each month, you could consolidate your loans. You can’t escape not paying them because they can get your tax refunds and garnish your wages. I have included some resources below.
